These bread knives are incredibly sharp and do the job brilliantly, whether it be slicing bread, cutting the crusts off piles of sandwiches, making biscotti, slicing cakes in half, or cutting up pies, tarts, tortes and wellingtons.
They saw through bread like a knife through butter and having thought my old bread knife was very good and perfectly adequate, it is now languishing at the back of the drawer, relegated to second best.
They come with their own sheath which makes them very handy for taking on a picnic.
